The Baluk Willam Nature Conservation Reserve is a small park in Belgrave South; southwest of the Dandenong Ranges.
It’s an important sanctuary for many flora and orchid species in the area and is a popular destination for botanists and visitors alike.

There are two main walks to take in the park: the Orchid Track, which is the longest trail, and the Loop Track. The Orchid Track starts near the car park located on the corner of Orchid Road and Courtneys Road and takes around 45 minutes return.
Both walks are an excellent way to explore the park, as it allows visitors to enjoy orchid viewing, bird watching, and wildlife spotting.
Visitors should take note that facilities in the reserve are limited; there are no picnic tables, toilets, or barbecue amenities. The sanctuary is a kid and family-friendly destination and makes a great day trip out for young and old.
To get to the Baluk Willam Nature Conservation Reserve, take Lysterfield from Wellington Road. Alternatively, you can take the Belgrave-Hallam Road as well as the Mount Morten Road. You may also take the Belgrave South bus which stops near Courtneys Road; around 50 meters from the northern end.
Parking is available at the Orchid Road-Courtneys Road intersection and near the middle of the park.
