Borthwick Park Playground

Borthwick Park Playground is an expansive playground specially designed to give young kids the chance to get lost in the world of play. This playground is a popular attraction for families touring the Dandenong Ranges.

The grounds are surrounded by trees which create a shaded area for parents and guardians to unwind as the little ones play.

The main play structure features a single wave slide, a climbing wall and rope bridge. There is also a bridge made of stepping disks that challenges the kids in maintaining their balance while pushing the limits of a fun-filled adventure. The steering wheel panel is popular, as is the balance beam with obstacles. Other features include monkey bars with varying heights, as well as rope spider climbing frame.

A four-person see-saw at the playground fun for groups of kids and there is also a large 360-degree basket, stand-on spinner and multiple swings.

There is a grassy section at the far end of the park. The grassy area has a gentle slope which makes it perfect for picnics and hanging out with family and friends. There are also seats and tables in the shaded area. For sports enthusiasts, the outdoor pool and netball courts are located nearby.

Other amenities available at Borthwick Park Playground include ample parking, however, visitors should note that there are no public toilets located here.
