On arrival at the cafe, the large glass windows welcome you to views of the picturesque surroundings. Soak in the panorama that is the Silvan Reservoir in the distance and the stunning background of the ranges. The cafe’s proximity to these attractions makes it an excellent stopover for adventure lovers looking for a tasty lunch during their travels.

The ambience at Destiny Point is warm and laid-back and it is ideal for families. There are several large tables for travelling groups and friends looking forward to a warm meal. What’s more, the outdoor veranda is a perfect place to sit and unwind over a good book during the warmer months. In winter however, enjoy the cosy indoors which boast a pot belly stove to stay warm.

The varied menu consists of coffee, light meals and the must have Devonshire tea house special. Zucchini and corn fritters are a popular choice and will be well worth the visit. Come for the Devonshire Tea that includes two scones served with homemade jam and freshly whipped cream. If you have a sweet tooth, then the handcrafted gourmet macarons are for you – gluten-free options are available too.

Make sure you enjoy the gorgeous sunset views from the cafe’s veranda the next time you visit the Dandenong Ranges.
