The menu at Fortnums is a combination of contemporary Australian cuisine and the undeniable influences of comfort food. The restaurant has carved a niche for itself in serving exquisite lunches and desserts, not forgetting the signature scones served alongside in-house jams and conserves for a refreshing meal.

The lunch menu includes delicious pumpkin soup, chicken bacon sandwich, roast beef and meatloaf served with roast potatoes, vegetables and tasty relish. Look out for Ploughman’s lunch for some great cheese, pickled onion and salad on the side. The same meals are available in a gluten-free menu.

A meal at Fortnums is incomplete without desserts. These decadent treats range from tangy lemon tarts to berry pies, sticky date pudding and a heavenly flourless chocolate mud cake. Alternatively, settle for the date scones served warm with butter for an appetising dessert.

Fortnums restaurant also offers high tea where you can enjoy gourmet sandwiches and savoury treats as well as cakes, pastries and scones. You can also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee which is included in the $45.90 price. Bookings are essential.

As a function venue, Fortnums hosts weddings and a host of events at very competitive prices. The elegant dining room is the perfect location for an intimate indoor ceremony, while the gardens are ideal for outdoor functions of up to 100 people.
