The Tesselaar Nursery has been managed by the Tesselaar family for more than 70 years and is also the host of the famous Tesselaar Tulip Festival held every Spring.

The Tesselaar Nursery is open daily to the public and is packed with an array of seasonal plants for sale. Here, visitors can purchase perennials, roses, vegetable seedlings, tulip bulbs and so much more! One of the most unique features about Tesselaar Nursery is that for every purchase, there are free growing tips to ensure that the plants flourish.

The Tesselaar Nursery hosts two large events each year: the Tesselaar Gardening & Plants Expo held in April each year, and the Tesselaar Tulip Festival held in September-October each year.

The Gardening & Plants Expo offers demonstrations and talks from a range of expert speakers where you can get knowledge and inspiration for your own garden. After the talk, head to the plant stalls to pick up some new varieties or old favourites. The Tesselaar Tulip Festival showcases thousands of tulips which are in full bloom during the festival and also features a number of cultural events, music shows, authentic food, folk dance shows and a number of entertainment programs and activities.
