Celebrate Mooroolbark is a volunteer-run, family-friendly event that aims to showcase Mooroolbark and celebrate our community. The majority of the activities are free or low-cost.
Celebrate Mooroolbark is returning to Hookey Park and surrounds on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, for a full-day extravaganza of fun for the whole family! Expect free activities, competitions, entertainment, market stalls, a classic car show, food and drink, and the Yarra Valley Wool and Handicrafts Show at the Mooroolbark Community Centre.
The festival provides affordable and free entertainment for all ages. Its objective is to create a festival that combines the diverse local community with family-friendly attractions that enhance community spirit.

The Celebrate Mooroolbark Festival is held in Hookey Park, a short walk from the Mooroolbark Station, on Station Street, next to the Mooroolbark Library. The Yarra Valley Wool and Handicrafts Show is held in the Mooroolbark Community Centre, Brice Ave, a short walk from the station and festival. There is ample free parking at Mooroolbark Station.
Celebrate Mooroolbark is an all-day event, running from 10am to 4pm and entry is free of charge.
